Website setup, marketing strategy, SEO and social media integration
Dog Friendly Sussex launched online in 2022, with the aim of being the go-to website for dog owners across Sussex looking for dog friendly services, such as restaurants, walkers and even swimming pools.
The first step was creating a responsive and modern website using the SEO friendly CMS – WordPress. The website needed to be unique to stand out amongst the many competitors within the market.
After the branding and technical side of the website was finalised. It was now time to start on the SEO and reporting setup of the website, before publicising Dog Friendly Sussex on social media.
I successfully integrated GA4, as well as the Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to ensure the website was effectively reporting before we started with publishing any social media posts. This was to ensure we could effectively report what mediums were performing best for the website.
Once the reporting setup was fully integrated, I then came up with a social media strategy for Dog Friendly Sussex, as well as assessing what social media platforms would be most appropriate for its target audience.
I’m continually working on the SEO of the website, including keyword research, content publishing, technical audits and outreaching for high-quality backlinks.
